Warranty Terms and Conditions

Standard 12 month Warranty

All products are guaranteed to be free of defective materials and workmanship under normal use, and are covered under warranty subject to the following terms and conditions.
  • The Warranty is a Carry In Warranty.
  • The Warranty Period for all equipment supplied by Eins-Sci is Twelve (12) months from date of original invoice.
  • Labor and travel costs for removal and/or re-installation of equipment on site are not included under this warranty.
  • Our warranty obligation is to provide a replacement part for a faulty item within the above listed period. All incidental, special and/or consequential damages are excluded.
  • The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation or maintenance, accident or misuse. Failure to follow the instructions provided within the relevant Instruction manual may void the warranty.
  • Shipping damage or damage caused by equipment handlers or unqualified/untrained service personnel is not covered under this warranty.
  • Consumables are specifically excluded under the warranty.
  • Normal  wear and tear are not included in the warranty.

Extended 12 month Warranty
  • Certain Eins-Sci products qualify for an extended 12 month warranty if registered with Eins-Sci within 30 days of purchase.
Products that qualify for an extended warranty include:
  • Dry Bath Incubators
  • Hotplates / Magnetic Stirrers
  • Micro-plate Mixers
  • Overhead Stirrers
  • Roller Mixers
  • Rotary Evaporators
  • Shakers
  • ​Tube Rotators
  • Vortex Mixers

Return Policy
  • Should a product prove to be faulty within 7 days of purchase, the product may be returned and replaced with a completely new unit within those 7 days.
  • In order to return the product for a replacement unit within 7 days of purchase,
    • The product should be free of any user damage
    • The product must be returned in the original packaging
    • Transport cost of the product is  at the cost of the customer

Distributors
  • If not carried in, distributors are responsible for the costs of labor  required to do the repairs.
  • Eins-Sci will supply the spares free of charge to the distributors. 
  • If distributor is outside the boarders of South Africa, shipping charges of spares  are  at the cost of the distributor.
